 To the delight of neighbors, Paris Hilton has put her 1926 Spanish-style Hollywood Hills home on the market for $4.25 million. Hilton wants to buy a larger home in a gated community or, one with a long gated driveway, according to her aunt and informal spokeswoman, Kyle Richards. Hilton bought the four-bedroom residence in 2004 for about $2.9 million, during the second season of her reality show, ‘The Simple Life.’ She redecorated the interior in black and white and transformed one bedroom into a walk-in closet and another into a security control room. During Hilton’s recent legal woes, her home was the center of a media invasion that was upsetting her neighbors. The throng of reporters and paparazzi staked out the home above Sunset Boulevard, capturing her move from jail to home and back again. The onslaught caused some residents to circulate a letter advising neighbors to call police about the noise and traffic. Richards, says their discomfort was not a factor in Paris‘ decision to sell. “I’m sure they’ll be happy to see the paparazzi go, but that had nothing to do with it,” Richards says. “She can’t control the people who are outside.” Hilton is currently staying in a rented home in Malibu.

 The 911 audio tape of Lindsay Lohan’s car chase and arrest reveal a Woman pleading for help and witnesses saying Lindsay believed she was immune from punishment. On the tape of a call to an emergency 911 line, the woman being chased by Lohan, who police said was the mother of her former personal assistant, describes what happened. “We were just about to park our car. We were coming home and out of nowhere this huge white GMC came up. The gentleman jumped out of the car, and oh my God, they are following us,” the woman told a 911 operator. She quickly became hysterical and her speech is difficult to hear over screaming in the background. At one point, she can be heard yelling: “Oh my God, what is he doing?” Lohan was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession, among other charges, after a high-speed chase through the Santa Monica area near Los Angeles. It was the second time in a month that Lohan has faced drunken-driving charges. Police arrested Lohan in a parking lot with two passengers in the back of the car that police said she was driving. The men who claimed to be inside with Lohan claimed that, during the chase, Lohan boasted she would not be arrested. “I can’t get into trouble. I’m a celebrity,” one of the passengers claimed Lohan said. He also said Lohan told police she was not driving and instead blamed “the black kid,” referring to one of the other three people in the vehicle. It was not clear whether they were friends of Lohan or if they were willing participants in the chase.

 Kelly Clarkson wants to apologize for any misunderstanding about reports of a feud with Clive Davis over the direction of her new album, ‘My December.’ “I want to set the record straight on this by saying that I want my band, my advisors, those close to me and my record label to be one big, tightly knit family,” she said in a statement posted on her Web site. “Like any family we will disagree and argue sometimes but, in the end, it’s respect and admiration that will keep us together.” For months, Clarkson has weathered reports of a battle with Davis, who oversees her record label, RCA, over the direction of ‘My December,’ which was released in June. “A lot has been made in the press about my relationship with Clive,” Clarkson said in her statement. “Much of this has been blown way out of proportion and out of context.” “Contrary to recent characterizations in the press, I’m well aware that Clive is one of the great record men of all time,” her statement said. “He has been a key advisor and has been an important force in my success to date.” Clarkson, who co-wrote every track on ‘My December,’ gives Davis thanks for releasing the album when he wasn’t obligated to do so. “I really regret how this has turned out and I apologize to those whom I have done disservice,” she said. “I would never intentionally hurt anyone. I love music, and I love the people I am blessed to work with.”
